New Autometer Tach Install

What do you think? Just finished up today. I couldn't find any better place to mount it, but it really worked out in the end. The wires already attached reached all the way to the fuse box. Since I don't have the factory trans-kickdown hooked up, I just used that block for power and lights. The only wire I had to run was to the distributor. I mounted it on what is essentially the shift column, so when it is in drive it is straight up and down.

In the process I also ran the light wire for my mechanical oil psi and temp guage using the same kickdown terminal.:drivin:

Looks good man. I bought a tach intent on strapping it to the column until I realized that the column turns with the shifter. Might go ahead & strap it on anyway. Thanks!
