Brought an 89 Waggy home to day...

Another Craigslist find. It need the tranny rebuilt, so I am just going to part it out.. So stay tuned to the for sale section, it has plenty of decent parts.

It on 32"s tires on 15x10" wheels with fitment provided by front and rear AAL's, front extended shackles, and a 2" body lift... With that combo, I expected to find some blocks in the rear, but there are none..

A couple highlights are the non-peeling front and rear bumpers, overhead connsole, disc changer, CB (which I need), and a TFI upgrade with a MSD Blaster 2 TFI coil, and NOT A DROP of rust..

Anyway, give me a bit to decide what I want to keep and then I will start yanking it apart..

BTW, before you guys start all the "its too nice to part out" junk... I expect to make about a grand, so you can always proove your opinion and ponny up the dough.. :thumbsup:

When you say "rest" you mean the the part of the interior not in the above pic:rolleyes:

Yeah, I will post some belt pics..

And I guess the camera hides a lot of "soil"... Its not horrible, but it could use a trip or two through the wash..

Well, that explains that... If I had this thing in TX, I would probably keep it too. However, I ALREADY have to get two Jeep home.. :rolleyes:





How much more use do the tires have?

I would say that they have about 50-75% tread left. The debth is about 1/4" - 3/8", and I dont figure that they came with much more than that. I might go buy a debth guage and I will be able to tell you for sure. I have needed it on several occasions anyway..

Don't know where Chino Valley is but I hear there is a pic n pull in Chandler that has a few FSJs. I wanna go get some spare shafts and a set of front doors to chop into summer/trail doors.

Lookin for the lower leather portion of the driver seat. If there's no holes in it I'd like to get it (whole seat, only the bottom, doesn't matter as long as I get it). Don't care if it's dirty...

Also want one front armrest with a good reflector.

Also interested in the tailgate wiper motor (dead or alive) and the rear washer sprayer plastic thingy if it still has them.
