I was at my local Napa auto parts today, and I thought i'd buy the exhaust manifold gaskets. They looked up the part, and went to get the gasket. Do you take apart the pieces of the gasket and use them separately. Inside the package are two pieces. Each piece looks like it can be separated into four separate pieces. I've only installed one other gasket before and it was on a Ford engine, and it was one long gasket for each side.
Did I get the right part?

Yeah, I have two pieces as well, but the pieces look like they can be further separated into four pieces each.

OK. I've posted a pic of the gasket here:

Is this the right one?

That looks right, you just seperate them into three pieces, one larger middle piece and two end pieces. It will be pretty obvious what goes where when you look at the manifold or the head. smile.gif

You might be interested in using a copper gasket especially if you have headers, although they cost more @ $22 per set. Here's a link to a set on ebay:

I am using a set of these with my Thorley headers.

Well I have never had any luck with gaskets anyway. I had mine replaced twice and even used the nice copper ones. About every 2-3 months I would blow a gasket. Finally I took off the manifold and sanded it smooth put it back on and it is not leaked since. The only side leaking is the one with the gaskets..
Good luck
