Going SOA and was planning on having the new perches rotated 2 degrees to point the pinion angle up more. I have the 1" BJ shackles in the box.
Does anyone know how many degrees the BJ shackles will change my pinion angle? I would like to use them, but myabe they will mess with the caster too much with the perches rotated 2 degrees. Any ideas?

I welded mine on flat as the stock SU perches. With the perches flat you can always add a some cheese wedges or remove them, or run the taller shackles. It really comes down to what can be changed relatively easy (cheese or shackles) and what can't be changed very easily (perches correctly welded on). If you not running lift springs up front you prolly shouldn't have to much trouble with the driveshaft hook up after you clearance the crossmember. There's some pinion angle allready made into the front diff on mine even with the SOA perches installed with no angle.

Weld the new perches flat. The shackles will rotate you some. If you rotate the perches also, your caster angle will end up being pretty bad.

I'm going to match the old perch I've decided. Just waiting to line up a welder. The one I had a deal with flaked 3 times on me! Hopefully I get it done by next weekend.
