I have adjusted my driver side windshield wipper but it still hits both the side and the bottom each time it swipes. Is there a gear or bushing that has worn that can be easily replaced?

dont know, maybe the splines on the wiper arm are stripped. also a good fix for the clip that goes under the wiper arm if it busts is to put a piece of rubber tubing in between the two lengths to keep them squeezed together. kind of a rough desription but it sure did save me from replacing my whole wiper arm.

every wag i've owned hit both places. try shorter wiper blades.

16" blades should not hit the top at all.....

I have a similar problem, accessing the linkage does not look to be an easy job.

Dang, I was hopeing for an answer to this one. That dadburn thump will just about hypnotize you on a long trip.
