Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah those are 33X12.50 on Mickey T Classic locks. Drove it to work today and got lots of looks. Feels good to be up in the air looking down on the rest of the world. Can't wait to get it in the dirt. Here are some day pics I took when I got home today.

Hmmm, feeling a lil better about my dually truck project now... I was think ingthe 6" lift and 33's might be too high for what I want in this truck but that looks darn good.

Wagoneerfan, I don't know if it would fit in the garage now or not. Wilson has always had a home in the driveway:( .
Elliott, looks like I might need one of those Hydroboost systems to stop this bad boy. Your pretty close being in Decatur I'm in Richardson. Maybe we can get together sometime and you could show me how to hook it up.
Thanks

I have a 6in lift on my truck and 33x12.5 look real good. I have 32x11.5 from before the lift on now. I would love to show my truck off on this forum but I can't get my pictures to come on. What do I need to do? Because it won't cut and paste

Lol, that's what I was thinking.;) If you want, I have another guy scheduling to have me install one on his rig pretty soon here. We could do your's at the same time and if you pay me for the parts ahead of time I could pick up the hoses and get them bent to fit, have it all ready to go. You'll want to get the 1" spacer ordered from Gary (in the vendor section) quick though so he can get one to you. You're about 45" from Decatur on weekend traffic. Shoot me an email.

Elliott, Cool man I will shoot you an e-mail sounds good
Hot Rod, Headlight bucket assemblies came from shopjeepparts.com they are CJ7 bucket kits.
Wagoneerfan, It's a kit that I put together. I had the springs made custom from Alcan Spring in Grand Junction, CO. It has Pro Comp ES9000 shocks, Stainless steel brake lines ,BJ's sway bar quick disconnects, BJ's Drop Pitman arm and Prothane bushings. The custom springs are the way to go. I drive this rig every day in town and these springs have a great smooth ride and should flex great on the trail.
Dirtball, I like it without woodgrain to. It's getting ready to go to the paint shop soon. From the hood line up it is going to be flat black as well as the front. Then silver on the rest of the truck and below the grill how it is now.
Thanks to everyone for the postive feedback. After putting the kit on in my driveway alone night and day last weekend it makes it all worth it.

I had three people helping me... or maybe me and my two nephews helping Jared since he seemed to do most of the work <wink> ... wouldn't like to think of how long it would have taken me by myself and without Jared's big jack and taller jackstands than mine... I could have gotten it done, though... maybe... I think... hopefully...
Congrats to you man... nice truck... can't wait to see it with paint... I'm starting on my black soon.
Hopefully it'll look something like this:

I added black below the doors...

Dirtball, Your rig is looking sweet the black will set it off great:thumbsup: . I got real lucky on the lift kit. This truck has always lived in Texas and thier is not a lick of rust. The bolts came right off and the captive nut on the driver rear spring was still holding tight. Do you still run a track bar with your lift? I have some sway and thinking about putting the track bar back in. Has anyone with a six inch lift fabricated a bracket for the track bar?

Thanks for the kind words... but let me tell ya, it looks a lot better in pics than in person. I have to put a couple of more coats of yellow on it along with the black; now that it's warming up I'll be able to finish it.
I don't have a sway bar or track bar; never did since I owned it. Mine handles TONS better with the lift. It wanders some, but nothing major. I'm sure it has to do as much with warn frontend parts and the tires as the lack of a sway or track bar.
No comment on the "paint job" on your truck? I was truly curious if I got close to what you're going for.

Sorry about that. I got carried away thinking about the track bar. But yes you are right on with the paint job. I think under the doors I am going to put some kind of rhino liner type coat or put some black side step. I'm only 5'5 so a side step might not be a bad idea. I'd like to see some pics of yours when you get done with the paint. The black and yellow is sweet. With the black top and tinted windows it would really look good.

Alot of us have a lot of fun playing with paint programs. I'd suggest playing around a little before you paint yours just to see if something else might strike your fancy a little better. Some folks on here are truly outstanding with paint and photoshop. I'm just good at drawing lines!!
I'd like to tint my windows this summer, and I'll probably do it myself since it's "just" on my Cherokee... lol... real dark would be pretty cool on the big sides and back, and it should be really easy to cut.

Looks great! I'm trying to decide whether to go with a 4 or 6 inch on my Cherokee. I want to use it as a daily driver so going larger tires is a downfall for how I want to use it. But then again the 6 inch and 33's just look so d*m good together!

I personally think (fwiw) that 6 inches and 33s look better on NTs and 4 inches and 33s look better on WTs... 33s seem to get lost on WTs with 6 inches of lift... jmho...
