Okay, one more question before I take off for Arizona to pick up this 83 GW I bought. It has a TF 727 in it with the 258 I6. My plan is to fool-inject it.
Anyhow, I already know the engine will need rebuilt in the near future. I have access to another 258 engine, and from a different source I have access to a 727 & NP229 out of an 86 GW that had a 360 V8. So I'm going to go ahead and buy them and rebuild them, as well, so that I'll have a complete engine/tranny/t-case combo to drop in all at one time.
So, my final question is: Is the torque converter the same?
