Th400 Dome Cover Mismatch (with pic)

going over my two sets I just noticed they arent the same. (the other flat plates are). Anyone care to explain what years which goes too?

one is a nailhead cover,other is an amc bell'd cover....?

they do look like they'd interchange........

a drill will fix that quick, or leave the 4th bolt out

The early style is completely different. I bet it you were to stack them two covers the holes would line up, who taught you how to compare :rolleyes2:

well yeah thats obvious, question is what years does which go too. One goes to my 79, the other? just trying to help someone else out.
