Just a couple of questions concerning the NP 229 on a '84 GW:
1- When engaged in 4 X 4 High and going around a turn a noise similiar to a chain slapping is heard. Is this normal or do I have to change or adjust the chain in the transfer case?
2- When the roads get a little rough (a lot of bouncing) the transfer case engagement lever (high to low) will disengage. What's the fix for this?
3- How nuch vac is needed to engage the front axel? How much vac is needed to maintain 4 X 4?
