So lately my jeep has been making a loud ticking noise in drive. I thought it was my new starter gone bad already. Then in park it started making this horrible god awful noise. Took flex plate cover off and found every bolt worked loose and 1 backed off far enough to grind down halfway! Oops. Glad I caught it. Yanked it, blue locktighted the bolts and it's running great!!! :D Nice and quiet. Well, as quiet as it gets with the flowmaster.

Yeah that happend to Flints J20 on a LONG roadtrip we took the other year. Rattled horribly for 300 miles or so, same thing. Sounded like a death knell but usually the bolts have no where to go..thats crazy one of yours ground down though!!

Yes, got a bunch of different ones. AZ, couple for CO, Moab... They come in handy.

ha ha ha ha ha can you say leaky cam plug ?????????????????????
Is that what does it? Oil leaking out the back gets the bolts wet and they back out?

No that wasn't it. We recently had it all apart when I rebuilt tranny. We didn't put any locktight on threads and the starter went out. The bendix wasn't pulling back all the way and kept vibrating on flex plate. There was no evidence of anything leaking onto any of the bolts.
