Don't these things leak in enough places? Or is this to let the water that leaks in - drain out?

They actually go near the kick panels, so they aren't on the floor per se.
However I'm pretty sure those are the reason FSJ kick panels are typically powder that resembles cardboard until you touch it.

Maybe I'll get one and mount it in my floorboard directly beneath the leak caused by the roof rack.

All my Jeeps have made their own floor vents.

The drainholes get clogged with leaves and mud, so the rain will back up into the passenger area. Helps to clean them periodically, but the drivers one has the Ebrake that is in the way.

That's why my E-Brake (Took it out so I could clean in that spot, it didn't work anyway) is going to be mounted on the transmission hump. I'm using a hand brake out of an old rabbit.
