Yet another rhino question

Ok...I want to do the rhino conversion on my '89 Wag and I've got questions. I tried looking in the archives but I still don't have the answers I need.
First of all, do I need to relocate my tranny cooler, and if so, how do I do it?
The other issue involves what everyone keeps calling the "valance". I've read that I need to change it or modify the one I have. I have takent the grill of my Wag and, with the exception of the tranny cooler, it looks like I just need to attach everything and paint the valance. I can see where I might need to grind off a few mounting brackets for the old grill. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

Yes, you will need to relocate your tranny cooler. As far as how to remount it....you will need to make yourself some new mounts. I suggest some vertical mounts that go from top to bottom of the grill area. You will need to "eyeball" it when you're in there to see what I'm talking about.

As far as the Valance needing to be changed....I did not, and have had no problems. Some people say you need to switch over the old hood release, although I did not, and once again no problems.

You are correct that you will need to grind off some of the old mounts for the 89 grill.

I also used a nut for a 3/4" bolt as a spacer under the top mounting flange...you need something about 1/2" tall in order to get the Rhino grill to the correct height.
