At Napa one is $10 and the other is over $30. The cheap one is transistorized (whatever the hell that means, sounds cheap) and the $30 one doesn't say anything. Does any of this matter? I'm leaning towards the higher priced model but if it doesn't matter I'll go cheap. Any input would be appreciated.

Well only thing is all the Vehicles I see in your sig. Do not require a Voltage Reg. is this for something else?

Well my 88's lights have been fluttering for some time now and I assumed that it'd be a voltage regulator. Maybe I should try popping the hood.....

Your 88 has an internal regulator, internal as in the alternator. Might be time for a new battery or Alt. smile.gif
