View Full Version : 1977 Jeep Cherokee -- Sport?

Its a rad jeep I've had a lot of plans for. But I am in school and now am in trouble with some court fees to pay. So I have this jeep listed on the for sale section, but I do not know what theyre even worth. It has a rebuilt 360 in it and about 40,000 miles on the turbo 400. New dual exhaust. It has done a lot of sitting the past few years cause it's not my daily driver, but it still runs. Sounds awesome. I have pictures on the for sale thread. But any info anyone can give me on these that a potential buyer would like to hear (and I would like to know too because I am in love with it). And how much I should ask for it. Also a question I asked in the for sale section is if it is a sport, or chief, or what. How do you tell? I've assumed Sport because the little chief emblem has an 'S' in it.

Didn't see your for sale post. Is it on this site?

Have to see the pix to give you an idea. How rusty? Body damage? Lifted? Tires? Etc...

Well it was posted on this site, but I have no idea what happened to it. I remade an ad though, so hopefully it can stick around. The ad does have pictures though. The tires still have some tread. There is a little bit of rust right above the rear fender flares. That is it as far as I can tell. There isn't a lift or anything like that. Interior is still in decent shape though, even the carpet. No tears in the seats either. Other than the little bit of rust there isn't any other body damage. Just dings and a faded paint job.

Ya I love it! I wish everyone could hear how well it sounds. Is there anything else you can tell by the pics? I seriously haven't logged off of this since I started working on it. I dont want to get rid of it! :( Maybe I'll sell my yota pickup, drive my samurai for now, and put all money towards this!
