I have an '88 GW.I don't see this exactly in a search so I guess better to ask. I see the vent line for the front axle that comes up next to the airpump.Does the t-case and the trans both have vent lines? And would they come up against the firewall?Any help is appreciated.

Both of your axles the transmission and transfer case all have vent lines. I extended the vent lines from the front axle, transmission and transfer case to a K&N filter with 3 3/8" tubes on it. That way the vents are up high and the filter keeps the dirt out. I've got another for the rear axle too.

Would you happen to have a part number for the filter that you are using.

Is it one of these http://www.knfilters.com/images/cvfsb.jpg

Thanks

The K&N filter number for the 3 hose 3/8" filter is #62-1200 and the single hose 3/8" filter is #62-1090 or #62-1000.

Thankyou Trvlr,Iv'e been replacing vacuum lines under the hood and I found 2 lines that run into a tee going to the charcoal can's gas tank nipple.I thought this was odd so 1 must me either the t-case or the trans vent line.Iv'e got a total of 3 hoses that come up from behind the engine along the firewall.More tracing lines is needed now I guess.
