who's running 42's or bigger and how top heavy is your waggy or truck.
I have 37's but I am just about to finish my build but think 37's are to small.

im runnin 42's and dont feel that it is top heavy at all. but each rig is different. a rig w/ a 20" lift and 42's will be different than a rig w/ 4" lift and 42's.

need to be a bit more specific on what your looking for.

Tire size wont effect how top heavy a rig is as much as suspension and body lifts will. Since tires are unsprung weight, heavier tires make the vehicle more stable in most cases. If you have a 12" lift or something, its going to be pretty top heavy. If you have cut out fenders with 6" of lift, its not nearly as big of a deal.

8 to 9 inches of lift is what I have I plan on cuting the fenders.

I have a choped top, caged, half doored, 3 speed tcased, one tonned, and 42ed driving GW. I have about 9" of lift (+/- a couple inches) with chopped fenders. I get tippy sometimes on side angles, but front to back works pretty dang good.

I am running 42's and feel VERY stable. Here is a video on a very tippy section in Morris Mountain called Los Primos.

Thanks. It felt worse than it looked. I hope to get some more video this sunday. I am going back out to MM for the end of the Shamrock Run.

Too bad my March of Dimes ride is the same weekend as TrailFest. I would love to make a trip back up to Harlan.

I think I'm heading to Trailfest and it'll be my first trip to Harlan. We'll see happens after the Spring Fling though.

As for the thread, I run the 42 Iroks and don't feel top heavy in the least. Of course I'm 8' wide but still, I don't feel it.

you can ride harlan saturday then your invited to ride with us in hazard sunday.
I would be at harlan myself to the trailfest if we didnt have this thing aleady on paper. I guided for the trailfest promoters last month in harlan. had a good time but they didnt want to hit some of the hard trails most were in rubi's.
