I run an NP 208 behind a T-5, with manual hubs. Is it ok to drive on pavement in 4H and the hubs locked ? Also is it possible to shift between 4H and 2H while in motion ?
Thanks
The 208 is a Part-Time case and not recomended for 4wd on pavement, severe driveline binding will occur during turns.
Only the 228, 229, and Quadratrac cases can be driven on dry pavement in 4wd.
It is ok to shift between 2hi and 4hi while moving, but not 4hi and 4lo.

You *can* drive on pavement in 4hi, but do not do it for an extended period of time, like Kris said, it will break things.
