Aloha,
Just a quick question for the group. I'm planning to pick up a 79 wag donor for my project tomorrow. Does anyone know if the 79 had manual or power windows?(thats the main reason I want it besides the factory slot rims:thumbsup: )

are you talking bout the door windows or tailgate? the tailgat could be either and i've only seen manuals on the doors of 79's, but thats not saying thats all there is.

My '79 Wag has manual windows while the tailgate is power. The '79 Limiteds had power windos tho.

Thanks guys, yes I meant the doors. I don't like the power windows on my 89' so I plan to swap them with the 79'.
Mahalos for the info, I'll snap a few pics when I get it.:D

Rusty but it has the cool Ansen slots and a very fresh TH400 that will replace my 727. Clearance issues with my D300 and driveshaft necessitates a change.

I went there to see the new FSJ grilles and square headlights that year and was amazed at how ugly they were. ;)

Maybe make it back one day and talk story.

I was up there for several years, finally moved back home a couple years ago. No can beat big island for island living! Plus get plenty jeeps hidden in backyards!
