A edelbrock 1405 or 1406 (1406 is electric choke, 1405 is manual) is the perfect size carb for the sstock 360. You will either need a 4v to 2v adapter (which kinda defeats the purposse of a 4v carb IMHO) or you can get a edelbrock performer or air gap intake to go on it. I have the performer with a 1406 and it runs great. Even up the steep hills that I go up (some people complain...i havet had any probs)

The performmer intake gives really nice throttle responce and idle to 5500rpm's power. Although in reality it starts to drop at 4500ish. The air gap is for higher rpm's then the performer. 1500-6500 I *THINK*, I may be off on that. The performer comes in EGR and non-EGR models. Air gap is non-EGR only I *THINK*...would have to go check edelbrocks site.

The 1406 carb is 224 (199 for the 1405)
The performer intake is 168 for non-EGR, i think 248 for EGR...dont quite remember.
