Stupid DOL lady (a little long)

when i went to get the title for the truck transfered to my name i thought it would be a simple transaction...wrong! the lady was either in an unhappy mood or just wanted to be an Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley. first she has me list everything thats wrong with it to make sure it fits the category it fell under, okay no problem. then she looks up what her catalog says for its price. about 2 minutes of looking she asks if its a cj7 or cj7, i say neither, its called a gladiator. then she asks me well is it a panel wagon? again i explain to her what model it is and even show it to her on a title. after a few more minutes of looking she accuses me of lieing about what type of vehicle it is because her book lists every vehicle ever made!!!:eek: can you imagine my frustration? so she wont transfer the title and says for me to get it transfered i have to haul it to a jeep dealership, have them apraise it and get a statement from them saying that it is infact the vehicle model i say it is then proceeds to say she doubts i have it correct. easy fix was i waited till she went to lunch and went to another lady, 3 minutes and 30 dollars later i officialy own the gladiator.

LOL isn't the DOL fun:D ..... It took me 7 months for them to give me a title.

You live in to big of a town, here in Deer Park if you are in there more than 5 minutes you stopped to talk to someone. Just give them the money and hit the door. :D :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
In Calif you could plan on spending the better part of a day to get anything done at the DMV. When I moved here I thought I died and went to heaven. No smog checks, nothing, just in/out and CYA.

I know a guy sane thing happened to him he's got an AMC eagle takes it in he say's its an AMC eagle she say eagle what no its just an eagle she said that the make what's the model :D :D :D :thumbsup:
