I've seen original cams, lifters, timing chains you name it on evilbay. People think FSJ's and ALL their parts are rare and valuable. :rolleyes2:

Heck, I have about 150 lbs of "used" QT chains I would sell for the right price. No broken links. Anyone interested? Hmmmm? :p

I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING MORE WORTHLESS THAN A SET OF USED LIFTERS. TO INSTALL USED LIFTERS IN ANYTHING IS STUPIDITY BEYOND STUPIDITY....

Oh yeah, I got a box of used lifters from a rare AMC 401 that I could toss in with the used QT chains. No charge for the lifters of course. Would that sweeten the deal?

Correction: 2 sets of rare used AMC 401 lifters (32 lifters!) I'll toss in with the QT chains. Buyer pays shipping of course. :p

I won't believe they're AMC lifters till he turns them over and I can see the concave wear marks...

If I bought those would they fit in my NP229 to make it a QT?

Would the 401 lifters give me more power, they would have to right?
The 401 is a bigger motor so the lifters out of the bigger motor would make my 360 bigger right?

That is a steal 32 free 401 lifters with the purchase of some QT chains to convert my case to the "superior QuadraTrac" and get my 360 that much closer to a 401.

Darn, auction ended without any bids...:(

Now my kids can't go to college...

And BTW: What mods would i need to run 32 lifters? Will they make my 360 faster?

Ohh, Yeah, 401 lifters, COOL ! I have been looking for a set of 401 lifters they alone are worth 30 hp over the more common 360 lifters, never mind the low Hp 304 lifters:rolleyes:

When I do my next oil pan reseal i'll make sure I save the gasket pieces and glue them back together and market them as slightly used.

Well shoot, at $100 a barrel I'm going to save up my old oil everytime I change it and put it on daBay!

It's not 401 oil, but it'd work great in a 304 or a 258 :D
