what width wheels

how wide of a wheel should i run with 35x12.5x15 m/t tires?
78 cherokee wide track with a 401 th400 qt and 3/4 ton j-20 axles? mostley mud and woods driving.

I would use 8 inch wide wheels but there will be alot of different opinions on it. Most will recommend 8 or 10 inches depending on personal preference. I think 8 inches will hold the bead better while 10 inches gives a wider footprint yet the larger offset causes more clearance issues and more wear and tear on bearings and such.
