Messing around yesterday just before sunset and took this pic of the Super or Custom Wag indicator lights backlit by the sun. It's no Ansel Adams, but oh well.:)

True, the black lenses you see were used after '65 on all the models. The colored ones were '62 to mid-'65.

The difference with the console setup is the housing is 1-piece, while the underdash ones are individual units ganged together.

so after 65 the individual lights were black also?

Not colored?

Heck I thought the coloring showed when the bulb lit up.

Now I'm not so sure about the one I bought.:eek:

Color- is really tasty looking.
