Heck yeah a good deal. Just an educated guess on drivetrain:258 six, t176 or t18 (creeper gear) trans, np 208 transfer case, d44 front, amc 20 rear. Easiest was to tell ratio is by tag on from axle. Tag goes between bolts. Again, very nice truck! Where's STL?

Yea I didnt think they had LED Blinkers built in the Mirrors.
I was told it might be a J10 or a J20 but all of them I have found have V8'S in them.

You did good!
You have a J10 and the motor is an AMC 258. The stepsides are becoming desireable. It looks like your fiberglass fenders are in good shape.

Nice score, that model is called the "Sportside". Be careful with those rear fenders as they are spendy to replace.

Nice truck. That's a steal at $1500 and the rear fenders don't even look cracked. Hopefully the wood on the tailgate hasn't rotted it out too bad underneath. I had the same drivetrain in mine when I got it which was nice even with 36" tires. That's the same color I want to paint mine.

I like it. Heck of a good deal for $1500.
Do we know that it's a manual transmission? If so, it'll be a T-176 (no T-18 in a J-10 after 1979). Could be an automatic too; if so, should be a TF727.

Its an Auto.
And I want to lift it a little and put some newer bigger tires on it. but it needs a few things first.
