Radios ??

I have not looked at buying a in dash radio sterio in 15+ years, what is the current state of the art that will fit out dashes?
A quick look shows all these DIN mount jobs, and not much in the way of shaft mounts.
Any help would be great!

A few compaines still make the shaft style radios but nothing with great features. The best advice I can give is buy a good used shaft style then if you want to play CD's buy a disc changer to go with it.

Get an FM modulated CD changer. They're easy to install and discrete. The changer controllers are small and easy to use. It feeds the audio right into your stock radio's antenna jack on whatever frequency you choose.

I'm going to keep my dash all original looking while hooking up a sirius satelite set up in the glove box. That way I get all the creature comforts and no one will try to break in for my classic 1979 FM radio!

I have the stock radio in my GW, I hooked up a JVC FM modulator
to my 20 Gig Dell DJ. Works great :thumbsup:

I can listen to Amy Winehouse anytime I want!!
