View Full Version : 84 GW fuel guage

Fuel gauge goes to over full reading when key is on and falls to between 1/4 and 1/2 with it off. Would this be a sendung unit problem or in the guage itself??? Somebody help this ignorant mechanic out!!!!! Thanks for any help!

It is more than likly the sending unit.It is mounted in the tank.To remove take rear seat out+you see a panel to remove.

I saw in your sig. You use an electric pusher fan. Did you retain the stock engine fan? If you decided to go all electric how well does it handle your temp? Please give more info.

I kept the stock fan with the pusher fan hooked to come on with the a.c.or a switch.It helps cool it,but i did the all eletric,it didn't work well.I pull a 22ft travel trailer thats when i had the problem with all eletric.
