This is how we started the day with a newly painted bed:
http://www.mediacooperation.com/double/sideliner.JPG
as we applied the liner:

installed the fenders:
http://www.mediacooperation.com/double/sidefender.JPG
and ended up with a 90% finished body assembly after a lot of work and sweat!
Nice feeling, though to have the two J10's next to each other. Just need to get 37's for Juicy...

Next step would be; finish the red monster and get a nice paintjob to Juicy?

What color do you think? Black, I recogn, so that we can have the original stripping put back on there again???

There they are; the two sportside's in the garage!
Just thought I'd share these pictures with you guys as it's probably pretty rare to have two of them next to each other - lol!

SWEET - brow and browless side by side - now you guys can see why we like the browless so much!!
Those are both really nice trucks!!!
unreal... those are really nice trucks :D
How much lift on the browless truck?
And also can I ask... you seem to create visually appealing trucks, and your preference thus far is the factory low profile mirror. Is this done on purpose for visual aesthetics, or is it more of a convenience thing, or simply an era-specific mirror? I ask because I have put many hours of thought into what mirror to use on my truck and I still don't know.

would be an honnor to work on your truck! just need a place to stay over in a sunny US-state, a greencard, and I'm yours!
do you think customs will give me a greencard faster if i show them the trucks and tell them i want to contribute to the conservation of the american heritage???

there's a 4" bj's leaf kit + 2" body lift and 37x12,5x15 Goodyear MTR's on the shinny browless 82' truck. i would have prefered a 6" kit but the 4" was already on there. i tried working on the best possible deal from bj's but the wallet simply wouldn't allow it.
concerning the mirrors, i just want to keep it simple and clean, just the way it was back then. the only thing i tend to visually change on my trucks is the height, the wheels and tires and the exhaust.
plans for that truck: finish it; just need to get the front 1piece bumper back from the chrome shop, have a factory rollbar custom made in stainless steel, rebuild the wooden cargo box rail, build a dual stainless steel exhaust and put the original 82' decal kit on sides, hood and taigate. then it's over and finished. might also want to have the dashpad covered with the same leather as the seats because i'm not happy with the result.
plans for the other truck: go through the entire resto process again, only have it painted in black instead.
just like good old times! lol

I suggest you do mine next for a 3-peat.
I would love to see one black with the decals. I like the little mirrors too. Mine came with the worst mirrors of all. The driver side is low and you can barely even see the passenger side mirror as it sits so low. I have doors from a gw that will replace mine and I'm keeping the mirrors from that.
Awesome trucks Dan!

Dan, can I come over to your house and play? Very, very nice trucks. I'm with JR on this. Black with the Honcho decals I think would be extremely sweet.

Another vote for Black with the Honcho decals.
I've never seen one in person, but I like dark colors.
In fact, my new J10, while sprayed primer gray, is a black truck with red interior.
I like Black!
