I was wondering if anyone has adapted a 350 tbi unit onto a amc 360. I couldn't find any info. is it possible? I have a whole tbi system that I was going to put on my 350. is it just getting it to bolt on the 360 intake manifold?

This is what I plan on following when I do mine. I'm hoping to go from 8.5 to 12 mpg and make it easier to use in the winter. http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=69362

He has GREAT tech info on his website. Ask around here and you'll find that he is VERY SLOW to respond to customer service needs and the REQUIRED re-programming of your chip.

If you have an EPROM burner/programmer or one of the bypasses available on the web, it's probably not a bad system. Of course, if you already know how to use that stuff, you can build the system YOURSELF.

Hexadecimal addressing makes my brain hurt and I don't even remember the resistor color codes anymore. That's why I went with Howell's system.

Click on "advanced search" after you hit the search button and search for "fuel injection"

Lots of info on here about it. Most scattered around, but there is a thread titled "D.I.Y Throttle Body..." that should give you a good starting point.

Just get a kit from Megasquirt to run the GM TBI. Summit sells adaptor plates for that goofy three-bolt mounting system, so overall you should be able to put a stand-alone EFI system on your truck for under $400.
If you want to skip the mounting adaptor, get a CFI throttle body off an early 80s Ford Crown Vic with a v8. It uses the same bolt pattern as a Motorcraft 2BBL.
