Assuming that we are talking full-floaters, what years did they have the weaker/lower spline count d60's? Should I look for a '72 or newer j20 axle just using the year as an example?

I looked for a 60 that has big spindles on it so I could get 1.5" shafts and 35 splines. Mine is from a Dodge truck 78-79 not to sure.
The f.o.r.d. HD60 has the big spindles and could have 35 spline shafts. youngjeeper had one he got from me for sale a while back.

That is what I thought. I was wondering when they went away from the coarse spline rear shafts.

Any FSJ ff D60 (68-88) will have 1.3" 30 spline shafts, they never used course spline D60's.
