Ok you 350 runners, another question. On the belt-pulley set up on the crank. I have this pulley that sticks out on three arms that appear to be bolted to the inside of the other pullies. Can I remove this, as Idon't use it and the fan rides very close to it.

I am thinking you are referring to the AC idler pulley, as I have one as well and am going to pull it off. I don't see any reason why not! ;)

GM made at least a hundred different pulley combinations for the SBC or any of thier other engines as well. You didn't specify whether or not you're running a chevy or a buick 350. Either way, most of the crank pulleys were stamped together and spotwelded. If you want to remove one from the stack, you're prolly gonna have to break out a die grinder and a good set of drill bits and a hammer and a chisel and a box of bandaids. LOL. Good luck. :D

Nope , just 6,5/16 bolts. I already have it off, with the other pulley re-installed with shorter bolts.
