ive got a d20 t-case and i was wondering if it was possible to have it be cable operated. and if anyone has succesfully done this.

Don't know if anyone has done it. I'm sure it would be pretty tricky. As you click your way through the positions on it, there are certain times when one rod has to stay still while the other moves. This is accomplished by a couple different ways depending on the type of shifter it has on it. J20

I would think that you will have to make one that operates the 2wd/4wd and one that shifts between high/low. Then it would be easy.

You could do. I have a twin stick D20. One stick operates the front and one the back. You could base it off the same idea.

You could base it off the same idea.thats what i was thinking make it like a twinstick but have it cable operated. id have to make a bracket in front of the shift rods to hold the cables but i wouldnt think that it would be too difficult.

D.B. I have a cable operated t/c (75 Wag) and hate it, I'm going to the lever operated type in the newer Wags. If you don't keep it lubed you have to put both feet on the dash to pull it. Just my thoughts about it. MG :mad: :D :D

marvin, could i get some more info from ya. how are they actuated, what size cables u got, and if you have any pics that would be much appreciated. im in the design stages so any input is appreciated.
