My wife & I went out to the Ocean today, hitting Salmon Creek beach & Bodega Head.
This seagull was rather funny, hopping up on my hood. We weren't feeding him or anything, I guess he just wanted to hang out:

Then on our way to Bodega Head, my wife confinced me to hit the mud holes.

The holes were deeper than they looked. Through the last hole, the front axle started pushing mud & the water was rocker level:

My wife was having a blast, but when we started slowing down I was a little nervous. There was nobody with us to pull me out if needed! But, good use of the right foot got us through. She got a little nervous when we started getting squirrely in one of the holes, but I was expecting that since it was really rutted through the same area in the summer time. She had a lot of fun going through those holes though :)
I also got some poser shots, checking for tire rub. Even though I extended the rear bumpstops by 2 inches, I was still getting some tire contact on both sides in the rear. The spot made for some nice pictures though.
