First off I don't want to cut up my dash. I would like to find an AM/FM radio that will fit in where my current non working AM/CB radio is. I have tried searching the net but have come up with nothing. Any one got any suggestions.

I had older aftermarket radios to put in mine, most of those went out of production early to mid 90's, not sure if any are currently made.
You could try ebay, someone may be selling an old factory or aftermarket.
Or you could try here...

There are still a couple of companies making shaft-style radios, but they're definitely lacking in quality:

Not that I have anything bad to say about Crutchfield, it's just that shaft radios are few and far between. It all depends on what you want to do: just something to listen to, good sound quality, etc...
The Classic Sound people seem to make OK shaft radios if you can afford them. Though if it were me, I'd stick to a late 80s / early 90s unit, like these:

I personally liked the early 80s Sears Dashmate units made by Sanyo. Had one in my 85 CJ before I sold it, definitely looked the period, sounded good and performed well overall. They're exceptionally hard to find now.

There are several places making new radios that look old and fit the "2 knob" hole.

NAPA has post style radios! Thats where we get them for our older U-Hauls!  Theyre cheap as hell and the speakers are wired to common ground, kinda weird.

Search Ebay or do like mentioned above and find a good shaft style radio to replace it with. Then if you want a CD player you can buy a CD changer that can be mounted behind the seat and hooked thru the factory antenna.
Here's a Kenwood shaft style:

and a changer to go with it:

Thanks for saying you don't want to cut the dash:thumbsup: , it always fries me to see a vintage dash hacked up for a pos wally-world, multi-colored led, ghetto-music playin', cd holden', ricer type "stereo". It just plain upsets us old guys and ya' might want to sell it someday.

Had a guy buy a whole dash out of a 75 J20 to undo this type of dammage.:D

I also don't want to cut dash. Has anyone used an MP3 player and Fm transmitter?

I kept the stock unit in the dash, replaced the sweet cardboard glove box with a plastic one from BJs (love that place), and did a custom mount cd player with usb input in the glovebox.
This way I keep the stock appearance, have great tunes, and the dirtbag car thieves dont see a thing.
Hi-lift jack on the exterior frees up the stock jack spot for a small 6 disc changer.
You would never know any of it was there unless I showed you-looks bone stock.

i am actually am gonna slide a cb in there, it will just be a cheap little cobra one from wally world. i need to file about 1/16 of an inch on all sides to make it fit. then built a box out of plywood and little 1x1 strips for supports and mounted it on the tranny hump with 2 6x9's and the radio at an angle under the stock ac ducts. looks pretty sweet, and sounds good. i need to finish building the to of the box so my speakers can support the bass....:D

Not sure why no one suggested it but have you looked at the local junkyards? When mine went out thats where I looked first and found a pristine AM/FM 8track out of a 1979 wag to put in my J-10, dug out the old box of 8 tracks and I am good to go. Nothing like ol Hank and Waylon on 8 track.
