Last night I got some 8mm Accell copper wires. Has anyone tried these. I put the ohm meter to em and they han NO resistance in them. The plugs hoever are motorcraft resitor type.
Any possible problems with these?
Like I mentioned before someone stole my 8 track tape player so radio noise is not a problem at this time.

Rudy, can't help here but I'd switch wire brands if I were you. Accell 30 years ago was "the" ticket but their quality control has seriously gone down. I tried some of their junk on a couple of HD's a few years ago with bad results. They must have moved their operation to China or Taiwan. I haven't heard anything good about Accell in prolly 20 years http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/frown.gif

Hey Rudy, I don't think it is possible for a wire to not have any resistance. You sure you measured it correctly? I have the MSD super conductor wires and supposedly they have the least resistance out of all wires. It's something like 40ohms per foot of wire. I would go with this set if I were you. I just don't feel so great about accel stuff cause you can buy it at Pepboys. Personally I don't like pepboys. There stuff sucks and most of the stuff they sell sucks. Except for your basic stuff really. Sorry, just my opinion.

There might be but my meter wont go that low.
I don't really care for Accell products either but these wires are better the the other stuff that are there and appear to be quality wires. I had Mallory wies on my other trucks and they are the same quality as these and costs the same.

The best wires I have ever bought for my hot rod are Jacobs. They have a lifetime guarantee. On my FSJ I'm running a home made set of wires made out of Packard 440 solid core wire. I've never put the ohms meter on these wires, but I don't get any radio static and the only way the wire will break is if you cut it or tear it in half. I use this packard 440 on lots of stuff that I work on. The average set of wires that you buy in the NAPAS and Auto Zones are junk.

I know it's to late...but Taylor has a lifetime warranty like Jacob's does. There both top of the line. What made me switch from Accel to Taylor was that it's probably the #1 brand for drag racers and track racers. Those guys are brutal on equipment, not to mention they are constantly pulling the plug wires. It's a real bite when you pit or you got 3 minutes till your next run and the **** wire boot comes off in your hand.
