Not personalized, but have the Oregon Trail plate. The covered wagon design seems to fit.

Saw a WA plate a few years ago. followed it for a 1/4 mile trying to figger it out, then he hit the turn signal. When the sequential lights started working, I split my sides laughing, finally hit me. 68 or so Cougar, plate was "SPTNKTN"

well dont know if it counts but mine read "hoolign" on my DD but once i get the jeep up and runnin then they will be swapped to that....and yes that one flies over REAL well with the cops when i'm pulled over. its alright though when i get my crotch rocket back together the tags on that will be "hoodlum".:p i know i'm a glutton for punishment.

When I get my new tags next month I'm hoping for:

DRTBALL
DIRTBAL
DIRTBLL
D1RTBAL
D1RTBLL
MSSNSHN (Ms. Sunshine)
YELOKEE
79CHERO

I hope for DRTBALL the most though... we have a "Helping Schools" tag here, which I have because I'm a teacher, which costs $15 over the normal tag, as opposed to $50 over the normal tag for all of the other specialty tags... the best part is, for that $15 you can also get it personalized...

Well, the '90 SJ has "WAGGY".:D
I have had "GEEEP" on various XJs since 1987.
And The Boy has "CJEIGHT" on his Scrambler.
The other Jeeps in the fleet just have generic plates.

I'm thinking of these three for the Jeeps and Mustang. Prolly put Unit 00 on the Mustang, it's an Neon Genesis Evangelion Reference and probably shouldn't attract too much negative attention. My sister wants "I81U812", but it's taken now, I was gonna get it for her when she got her first car. Oh well, maybe it'll be available then.

Unfortunately, Personal plates in the UK cost £££££££££££££ (£1000 - £20,000 in a lot of cases!) and have formatting problems preventing me from doing the same here.

On my 78 cherokee chief I have an AZ historical plate so nothing personal. However my wife and I have three jeeps, my '78, an '06 built wrangler unlimited, and the '04 grandcherokee limited family wagon, we decided to use this plate on the Wrangler;

MPTPKTS, due to owning three jeeps, and jeep standing for just empty every pocket, we now have empty pockets.

1AMC-360
But not a lot of people down here would know what that means.

W O S
01-04-2008, 09:33 AM
The plate on our Jeep says " W O S ".

The lady at the DMV had to approve it so she asked me what WOS stands for. My reply was "Wagoneer Of Steel". She approved it, but what it really stands for comes from a line my dad used to use when talking about a "wayward" brother that I still have. When asking about him, my dad would say "He is WOS". When we asked him what that meant he said "He is in a "World of (censored)PooPoo". From that time on, anytime anyone in any of our hunting parties was in a bad situation (stuck, lost, etc.) we would refer to them as WOS.
When we built this Wagoneer to replace our previous Wagoneer, the only logical choice for a plate was W O S!

More like spraying!:( In 2002 my engine was overhauled by a sprint car mechanic. The thing runs hotter than he11, especially here in the desert. I'm running the Holley Pro-jection system. The return fuel line originates from the throttle-body which is also very hot, rather than a return from the filter like the conventional system. Best I can figure is the gas leaves the throttle-body at very warm temperature then gets dumped into fuel tank which builds up pressure then the fuel makes another loop through the system and gets warmer with each lap it makes. The fuel actually boils after a while and the system vaporlocks. The tank vents have been replaced and are doing the best they can.

You should have seen it in Ouray. The fuel was spraying in a circle several feet round the gas cap because of the low boiling temp at that elevation. The first and last time I removed the cap during the boil a 1 or 2 gallon stream of fuel sprayed straight out about 10 feet.

Should say 'Onfire"

See pic in post below

Did you see what appears to be a lot of fuel pouring out of your gas cap. Add this to those nice tanks on the back and you would be ready to fly to the MOON!

I've seen that before. The guy solved it by running the fuel through a small oil cooler.

Couldn't help it. The license plate is the nicest part of the exterior right now. Actually, stumbled across this thread searching for pictures and write ups about the wood v. no wood argument. As you can see in the pic, it could use some work. But hey, the **** thing has a cool license plate!! (To me at least)
