Hey all...I checked with Carquest via phone, and NAPA and Autozone via net looking for the part # for the 2150 rebuild kit. No luck, although I *did* get a manufacturer: GP Sorenson. Does anybody recall the part # for this kit? I can't believe none of these stores have it...wait, yeah I can :D

If "Rainman" had looked for a 1990 GW carb, he would have found the GP-Sorensen 96-437A kit worked on all 2150's ever installed on Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers, and perhaps suggested that as suitable for your application.
I know Jeep changed a few things for the final year, but I don't think the carburetor was one of them.
Double-check the tag on the carb, and see if it would be covered by this description:
O.E.M. #1DA2J, 1DM2J, 1RHA2, 1RHM2, 2RHA2A, 2RHA2E, 4RHA2, 5RHA2
If not, Advance lists two kits for the '91 specifically:
NIEHOFF IGNITION CK825 CARB. NO: 53006748 $44.99
BORG WARNER 10748 CARB. NO: 53006748
Maybe Chrysler finally changed the carburetor number, and that screws up everybody's books?
Joe, I know Napa carries them. I bought one a year or so ago but sorry I don't remember the p/n.
Best thing to do is get the tag/model number off your carb and let them look for it that way. If yours doesn't say anything different or the tag is gone get a kit for a Motorcraft carb number ORHA2

Thanks for the info, guys. FWIW, I gave the parts beast at Carquest (the source for all mechanics around here) that same tag number. She told me, "I don't show a kit available for that vehicle." They aren't normally that inept. Oh well, off to NAPA. I figured after my little carb fire it would be a good idea to rebuild! Wish me luck.
Did you try one of the numbers Bob gave you such as 2RHA2? The number I gave you is from the 91 TSM but the printing/packaging of the kits may not be recent enough to include 91 models but the earlier kits should work just fine. There's the possiblity the parts person is looking at Wagoneers as in the XJ models and not FSJ's. Or just have them cross reference/look up the Sorensen kit number Bob gave ya.

Stupid question, but do the different tag codes denote different carbs or just different cross-ref numbers? If they just point to diff c-r numbers, why the different codes? Not that important, I'm just curious.

The Tag # refers to how the carb was set up, same carb slight differances
tunning. A different tag number on the same carb will or may have one or
more differances.
1) Float level
2) Different sized jet's
3) accelerator links may go in different holes
4) Choke settings may differ in inital opening, opening after start,
opening on step down.
5) they could but rarely use a different power valve (I think all the fsj 2150
used the same one) But there are others out there that open at different
vacumm levels that will fit the hole.
So same carb but esentially tuned for the application.
