okay well it's nothing extreme, just the radio tower here in town, 5 minutes off the main road, 5 mins from my driveway. It's a little mesa that has moab-esque rock formations all over the top, and has etched in grafitti on parts dating back to 1930, as far as I found. Neat stuff. Gives a great view of the entire valley I live it..snapped a few pix on xmas day when I went up for some quiet time after the all the kids made their mess here at the house :)

lookin up at it from the road

Cool pics, looks like a nice area.

thanks, it's grown on me. Was kinda a crappy town when I got here 5 years ago, but with all the natural gas $$ pouring in, it's cleaned up. And yeah, that's what it looks like around here..cedars, pinons, cottonwoods, sage and rocks and grass for as far as you can see :)

Lol no Flint, visibility didn't show that far away :)

at least you get a paycheck

Yeah it's a benificial to the brain to sneak out and enjoy this stuff once in a while.

Awsome pic Hammer! We have pretty pondo forests closeby too, but it takes some serious $$$ to live in them..and an affinity for dealing with 4'-8' of snow on your house..

That picture was taken about 15 miles across the valley from where I live.
I would have made it further, but there was a BIG tree sticking INTO the road from above. And I didn't have anything with me to remove the tree.

And yeah, it is a lifestyle to deal with living in the deeper snow.

Maybe I can take more pictures tomorrow, we got some more snow here today.
