bell housing questians

I have been told that the bell housing from 6 cly jeeps will fit v8 and vice versa can some one clear this up for me thanks

Yes, the engines share the same mounting pattern. If you are thinking about converting from a 6 to an 8 (or vice-versa), you can use the same bellhousing.

cool I have a 86 with the 2.8 that I want to pull the whole mess I saw a t176 I think that was it with a dana 300 on ebayadd to a 258 I have acssess to and I could get that thing back on the road or I could just dropp the 5.0 with c4 and come up withtransfer case and axles that would live or my real thought is find some sucker who needs body parts and sell it to him as for right now it is no priority
