I have heard that the spring perchs were differnt on a ford dana 60 than a chevy 60 I have a chevy 60 under my cherokee now and it bolted right up. will a ford be different? I think I read something about someome having to outboard there springs in the front to run a hp dana 60 is it true will all ford dana 60's? I am thinking about selling my chevy 60 for a ford one so I can run a ford 205 with my doubler, I already have the 203 and ford case and it would be cheaper than having to buy another chevy case and bore it out then put everything in

IIRC, the early '79 Ford D60 is the same 31.5" pad width. The Dodge D60 was .25" wider.

80 and newer Fords were wider.
