My daily driver died on me and am upgrading to an FSJ. I have found a Cherokee about 4 hours from home that I'm hoping to pick it up on Saturday morning(taking a large risk buying it unseen). My question is what supplies should I take to drive it home?

Already planning on taking oil, filter, trans. fluid, gear oil, anti-freeze, grease gun, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, jack, tool kit, jumper cables and an AAA card. Any other suggestions? (It has a 258 and a 727).

Thanks in advance.

"Upgrading to a FSJ?" That's a new one! Hahaha... Just kidding... Anyways, you might wanna yake along a coupla cans of Fix-A-Flat and a spare fuel filter. You never know.

Good Luck!

Don't forget your American Express Card....."never leave home without it!"
They HAD to be talking about us FSJ owners.

I'd also add some carb cleaner, starting fluid, and mabey some fuel conditioner/cleaner to dump in the tank. Really think about what tools you might need...if you have a doubt...bring it.

You've got a pretty good list going. Don't forget a gas can. We all know how well FSJ fuel gauges work!
