Dirt grip tires?

has anyone run the parnelli jones dirt grip tires? if so, how did they perform for you, and under what conditions? i got a line on some 37" dirt grips... not real thrilled they are on 16.5 rims, but they would work for a good while. the tread pattern looks decent for sand and snow (which i like), and the side lugs might do ok on mud and other 'real' wheelin stuff, but i figured i'd ask before i take the plunge.

I've seen their 16.5 tire and was considering some, so I tuned in.

everything 16.5 is drying up.yes, with good reason. you can't air down them much off-road without loosing a bead because 16.5's were designed for highway/heavy use use only (and why they ride like crap). but for some reason all you can find around here are 16.5's or 15's, and i'm not quite ready to grind down my calipers to make the 15's fit.
