Unless it's a super wag, not much.
If it's a 327 with A/C you want to pm Red Mistress, he's looking for 327 stuff like that.
that aside dont expect to make back your 500 without sitting on it for a long time.

Might take another look at the rear axle. 20's didn't appear till '80. If it has a round "dog dish" cover it's a 20, if an angular cover, then probably a 44.
BTW-----:worthless:

You may wanna double check the VIN. A 68 should have an AMC 327 in it. Buicks didn't come out till 69. A 68 should have a D27 front axle (D30 came out in 71) and the rear should be a D44 (AMC20 didn't come out till 80).
It's a home built Frankenjeep or....?
In any case if it's a Buick 350...that's a keeper. The rest is ho hum....

If you have them on Photobucket all you have to do is click on the bottom choice... the one that starts with IMG... it'll automatically copy it, then you just paste it into a post on here... instant pic...

Model Year 1968 was an engine transition period for the SJ; it could have one or the other. I believe you are right on the axle #s.

Always a good tool to have in your pocket when shopping for used cars is a refrigerator magnet. It won't stick to fibreglas or fudge.

If you are going to part it, I am interested in the underdash A/C unit. I don't need the engine brackets or anything, just the part that mounts under the dash. Thanks.

I find that hard to believe. I think there is minimal time to recoup the costs if you have parts that people need.
