View Full Version : Rear shackle flip.

Has anyone done a rear shackle flip? I can see what would have to be done (the obvious stuff), but I'm not sure of what other "problems" that I'd be opening up. It looks like you'd need to "cut" out the bottom of the boxed mount and then box the top in? Also, speaking of shackles, who makes aftermarket shackles (read as slightly longer and greaseable) for FSJ's.

Older shackle mounts use a stud instead of the box. These are easy to flip but driveline angles will have to be addressed.
