seat swap?

I am wanting to swap bucket seats from a Chero into my J 10. Is there any mods that I will have to do to make this work?

i threw in a pair of front seats from a '92 mercury grand marque...were perfectly sized for fit.
i kept the origonal seat support bases and was able to get away with using four 3" x 14" (approximate) heavy gauge steel plates as adapters between the newer seats and the origonal support bases (two for each seat).

i simply drilled holes in the correct places to marry up with the bolts from the support base and the bolts from the seat.

I went from a 1970 bench to 1985 power buckets, some of the holes were there, some were not. No big deal here, drill a little, shim a little. Just look underneath prior to doing your drilling.

I am with you Tex. I want to do the same swap and have been looking around at the jumkyard trucks and it looks to be a direct bolt-in. Now you do need to get the the brackets of course, but you knew that...LOL

I have some dodge neon seats, but I'll be swaping to Dodge Daytona next month.

I put GW power leather seats in my 75 wag and my j20, nothing to it, 3 of the 4 holes line up on one seat and 2 on the other. No big deal just drill a couple of holes and done. MG :D :D :D
