Newb here. I bought a 1989 Grand Wagoneer this summer which I love and want to treat right. I'm not a mechanic.
It's got some rust, and could use some tlc around the window seals, the electrics, and a few other spots.
Anybody know a good place to go in Montreal? Or around Montreal?
Any advice is appreciated.

First off, WELCOME!
Second, I have no idea where anything is up there. But with owning one of these rigs, you might want to either learn some basic mechanical skills or have a lot of money because if if you send it out for every little problem youll be spending big money fast. Plus its a lot more rewarding to do some of the work yourself, even if its basic things like a tune-up. But most of all...HAVE FUN WITH IT!

My experience, and others here can back me up, is that you might have a hard time finding a body shop to handle a rust repair of any magnitude...especially a big shop. They make the money on wreck repairs and warranty work, and rust work is both time consuming and takes more skill than jerking plastic body panels off and replacing them. You'd be better talking to folks in your area about a small shop or a guy that WORKS at one of the big places but takes jobs at home on the side...or else prepare to pay out the   ...the big boys will quote you way high if at all...they don't really WANT the work on a rust repair, so they'll quote it so you either say no or they're guaranteed to make $$...IMHO...
