I finally got my engine in and running this past week and was wondering if anybody has suggestions as far as timing is concerned. I have an '82 Wag with a 360 bored .030",with 9.5:1 compression. I have an Edelbrock cam, intake and valve springs. I am running a Holley 600cfm with vaccuum secondaries. As far as ignition I have the Jacobs Electronics Mileage Master box and Ultra Coil, I also have the distributor part of the TFI upgrade installed. What should I set the initial timing at? Any help would be great Thanks in advance

sounds kind of like my 401 engine, I go with between 15 and 18 degrees initial advance-idles at 750 to 800 and when warmed in park, has about 15 to 16" of manifold vacuum.
