Go to your local paint supply house and buy a gallon of "Aircraft Stripper". This will definately get the job done in a hurry. And remember to follow the directions! Brush it on ONE direction way only and let it sit.

Just buy the blue can with the airplane on the label. It is the BEST. Like above said one way brush stroke!

For an entire door, you are asking for an awful lot of work and not necessarily good results. You'll still end up sanding a lot after trying the stripper (particularly if you're having to remove Durabak which is a xylene-based coating and may be impervious to acetone-based paint stripper).
Find a dipping facility like www.redistrip.com (http://www.redistrip.com) in your area. You'll be delighted with the results, the amount of your personal time saved, and it's not very expensive -- I dipped a hood and pair of WT fenders for Narnian and it cost $285 for all.
