I don't know what the deal is, but I remember Bigblack'74 trying to sell his near mint '84 last year for around 5K and no one biting. Lately, I have been scanning the "for sale" area and there are guys trying to sell for 4 or 5K vehicles that wouldn't touch Trevor's. No where near.

I want to comment and say something, these guys keep reupping them and bumping them with ZERO replies. Doesn't that tell them something? I am by no means an expert on Jeeps, but I guess it is better to "let them hear crickets" on their sales posts than to take the time to tell them they are too high.

What's worse is when they say no wiggle room or firm or no trades.

Thanks for offering me a too-high priced vehicle and then telling me you are not open to any negotiations whatsoever.

OK, I'm done...

Let the crickets speak!!! Chirp, chirp....

I'm sure the message will get thru. On this board I think most of us are way too cheap to spend much on an FSJ ... esp if we have one already :)

Yeah. I paid $2100+600 to get it and that was a fair price. Certainly A LOT less than what was put into it (or pretty dang close). Fair for both parties. Shoot I still have a box of goodies that I've barely looked at, but there's enough in there to keep me from buying anything more ;)

I'd say anyone wanting 5k here better have dropped 10k into it with receipts, but we all know what it costs to do it anyways. Then good luck finding someone with 5 grand :P

Look,
I know it's getting cold and some cabin fever is setting in.
It does not give anyone the right to question a sellers price.
It's the same Don't Like It, Don't Read It, Don't Reply philosophy.
Move on, have a nice winter.
