Are the later manifolds the same as the earlier ones?
I am asking because I know that the driveshaft switched over to the driver's side in 1980 and I don't know if the exhaust manifolds possibly changed in design or if they just modified the y pipe.
Thanks for the feed back.

Drivers Manifold is different, Y pipe is also different.

Pete,
I have yet to see a difference in the manifolds... if you have a pre 79 drivers side and a post 80 drivers side... could you snap a pic....
This has been an ongoing argument for me.... since I have a set of 73's and a set of 80's and cannot see a physical difference... unless they have been swapped prior to me getting the motor, but doubtful... I know the separate ones I got from RamJet are off his 80.... and the others on the 360 came out of a 73 that Ben and I personally pulled the motor out of....
Please help me clarify this... thanks

Todd, here is a picture that Gwamp posted. You can see that there is a difference. The top on of course is the drivers side. I saw the difference between the 79 and the 80 that I had. You got the 80 maifolds from me and I traded the 79 manifolds for my headers  , but I will be getting more real soon (these as a matter of fact).

Thanks Bryant.... I will match this pic up to what I have at the house... and take pics myself.... I HATE THIS!!!!! When my rebuilt 360 goes in I'm going back to manifolds and Y pipe, but of course it will be custom to fit my needs.... ;)
