towing question

okay i am going to be towing my wagon home from the guy i'm buying it from is there a way to put the transfer case in neutral? i know the transfer case has a low range but i can't recall seeing a neutral position? or should i just disconect the rear drive shaft?

Q tracs are hi/low full time. Disconnect the driveshafts from the axles and strap 'em up.

QT's have a neutral... right between hi and low.... you can use that and not hurt the tranny if you are flat towing... leave in in park, diconnect the battery and turn the key ON to unlock the steering wheel...

I stand corrected, been too long since I owned one I guess, I thought mine was always in high unless I pulled out the cable to switch into low (on my '75). Did that change when they put the lever under the seat or am I just fogged?
